Description: Our client is currently seeking a BUYER
This job will have the following responsibilities:
A growing consumer products manufacturer is currently searching for a plant buyer. To be considered, you must have a minimum of 2-5 years of buying experience and a degree is highly preferred but not required. In this role, you will be responsible for working with managers in buying all products used in the office and plant. You will do negotiation and supplier selection for one-off buys and be responsible for indirect categories for spares, consumables, office supplies and professional services. Solid computer experience is required along with SAP or similar experience. Also responsible for sourcing and utlizing repair suppliers when necessary(repairs/rebuild). The company desires someone with an outgoing personality who can connect with managers and have some experience negotiating pricing. The company offers a good starting salary and fantastic benefits!
Qualifications & Requirements:
4 year degree highly preferred but not required
2-5 years of purchasing/buying experience is required
