Hybrid: Required to be onsite in Stoughton, MA on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.


POSITION OVERVIEW


The Manager, Medical Affairs Operations will be responsible for the project management operations support across a variety of exciting initiatives for the Medical Affairs organization aligning to the growth and strategy of the function. This role will provide functional support, literature surveillance, medical writing, standard response letter and MSL content development, congress planning, integration of insights into medical affairs plans, and MSL training. This role offers a unique opportunity to work cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders and will be a key member of the Medical Affairs and Medical Science Liaison (MSL) team and help contribute to the overall success of the organization.


RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Provide scientific support to the Medical Affairs organization in alignment with its objectives and strategies

  • Maintain content and have oversight for Medical Affairs SharePoint databases including contracts, medical resources and operations systems (e.g. Veeva, Konectar) and support structures for the team to effectively operate and deliver results

  • Own the library of MSL training material, standard response letters, and medical presentation material

  • Development and update of medical content (standard response letters, medical and payor slides)

  • Ensure the successful completion of deliverables and submission for medical/regulatory/legal (MRL) review

  • Ensure that timelines, initiatives and resources align with Medical Affairs and Field MSL objectives, including congress planning and medical booth support

  • Conduct literature surveillance include conducting journal clubs, synthesizing complex literature and publications to keep the team informed. May involve in competitive intelligence data gathering on an as-needed basis

  • Develop and maintain calendar of meetings across programs, including congress and internal meetings

  • Liaise with Legal and contacts team by submitting and tracking Medical Affairs contracts for timely submission and full execution

  • Coordinate the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and compliance updates on an as needed basis

  • Communicate to influence using facts and logical approaches

QUALIFICATIONS



  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Life Sciences required. PharmD or Master's degree preferred.

  • 3-5 years of related experience including 2-3 years of Pharmaceutical or Life Sciences experience required

  • Active working experience pertaining to Medical Affairs organization and functions (medical writing, literature review, outcomes research, HCP interaction, medical information, content development)

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to manage simultaneous priorities, changing deadlines, and limited resources

  • Strategic skills and experience developing account-level or product-level business/strategic plans

  • High sense of urgency, attention to detail, and commitment to execution

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, highly organized and detail-oriented

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint) required

Pay Range$141,428—$153,085 USD
