The Talbot Research Group in the Department of Chemistry at Clemson University is seeking a motivated postdoctoral researcher to join our team. Our group focuses on theoretical and computation chemistry, particularly in the development of electronic structure and molecular dynamics algorithms. Key research areas include nonadiabatic dynamics, solar energy catalysis, gas separation and storage materials, and ultrafast dynamics of atmospheric radicals.
The anticipated start date is flexible, but January 2025 is preferred. The appointment will be for one year with options for yearly renewal for up to three years based on performance and funding availability.

• A Ph.D. in Chemistry, Physics, or a related field is required.
• Prior experience with quantum chemistry code development is preferred
The successful candidate should have a solid foundation in electronic structure theory and molecular dynamics, with a particular interest in excited-state electronic structure methods such as CIS, TDDFT, ADC, or CC2. We welcome candidates who wish to apply and advance these methods to tackle complex problems in nonadiabatic dynamics.
Review of applications will begin immediately, and the position will open until filled. To apply, please submit the following materials via Interfolio at:
