You will be part of a growing team of engineers devoted to improving Zoetis' offerings of digital diagnostic products and services. You will work closely with internal and external testing and development teams in a fast-paced environment to review, develop, and execute test cases, in sprint, as development is occurring.
In this role, you will work end-to-end in defining and executing informal and formal test cases against Zoetis frontends, backends, diagnostic analyzers, the connectivity middleware that binds them all together, and the integration of systems that ingest the data our diagnostic analyzers produce. During this process, you will work with the developers, UI designers, Technical Business Analysts, Support teams, and OEM partners to assure Zoetis Digital Products are second to none in quality and performance.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with OEM Partners' test teams to perform integration testing of Zoetis middleware.
Work with product development team to build in quality early in the development cycle.
Identify real world test cases as well as boundary tests to ensure that we maintain a high level of quality.
Develop, maintain, and execute manual tests and track their results.
Work with the development team to resolve bugs/issues. Find, isolate, document, regress, and track bugs through resolution.
Interpret and report testing results and be a vocal proponent for quality in every phase of the development process.
Work with multiple product development sites, both internal and external, domestic, and international
Adapt when changes in the business environment dictate changes in priorities to meet the customer needs.
Interact extensively with counterparts on cross-functional project teams, including Zoetis Commercial Development, Product Management, Global Manufacturing and Supply, and Information Services to ensure alignment of diagnostic software development and release strategy with internal and external requirements, and to ensure that the delivered products will meet customer needs and drive value for Zoetis.
Become a technical expert on the things you are responsible for testing.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
7+ years of experience in software development and testing processes of commercial software; strong preference for medical device or diagnostic device software experience.
TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
Must understand the Software testing Life Cycle
Must be able to work in a fast-paced agile development environment.
Demonstrated ability to work with the software design engineers.
Strong experience in API testing.
Strong experience in testing web applications.
Experience in creating and executing testing strategies and plans, software tests, creating test reports and Requirement Traceability matrix.
Strong experience with bug tracking tools preferably JIRA.
Strong SQL skills a plus
Experience in test automation using Selenium with Java/Python
Experience in software configuration management; tracking and controlling changes in software and build management.
General knowledge of how things operate on a network.
Knowledge of Linux platform
Strong communication and interpersonal skills will be key to success in this role.
