Full time, 100% FTE position with a work schedule of Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. This position will have weekend and on-call rotation. This is a hybrid position and may require some onsite work, this can be discussed during the interview process.

We are seeking an Applications Principal - Cogito to:


  • Serve as a technical SME for Cogito suite of tools including but not limited to SlicerDicer, Caboodle, Reporting Workbench, Radar, SQL-driven metrics, and billing cubes. Develop and implement technical standards and provide technical oversight to analysts working to deliver reporting and analytics.
  • Lead successful initiatives of organizational scope to enhance the Cogito platform, deliver complex solutions using the full range of Cogito capabilities, and anticipate and provide on-going optimization and support.
  • Articulate resource needs for both new development and maintenance and work with organizational resources managers to obtain necessary resources per plan.
  • Work with operational and clinical stakeholders to identify standard foundation content that meets needs or elaborate requirements for custom content. Articulate complex technical components in a succinct, easy to understand manner.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, Business, Health Administration, Engineering, or related field Required
  • 4 years of relevant experience and education may be considered in lieu of degree Required
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, Business, Health Administration, Engineering, or related field strongly preferred Preferred

Work Experience


  • Demonstrated success leading the design, development, configuration, support, and adoption of solutions of significant scope and complexity Required
  • Demonstrated success collaborating with operational partners to improve workflows and simplify processes Required
  • Demonstrated success driving improvements in platforms, standards, and processes leading to increased operational excellence, elimination of waste, and reduced technical debt Required
  • Demonstrated success developing a community of strong analysts through influence as a teacher and mentor Required
  • Demonstrated success forming and sustaining collaborative, trusted-advisor relationships with stakeholders and IS colleagues Required
  • Demonstrated success in design, development, configuration, support, and adoption of medium to large-scale solutions using the applications, tools, and platforms relevant to the position Preferred
  • 5 years progressively responsible experience in an IS applications field Preferred
  • Demonstrated success working on or leading initiatives that use agile methods Preferred
  • Experience in information services or technology, direct clinical care, health care operations, or health care administration Preferred
  • Healthcare subject matter expertise including at least five (5) years' experience in a health system, academic medical center, or health payer organization Preferred
  • Experience supporting systems and/or operations in a 24x7 healthcare setting Preferred

Licenses & Certifications


  • Vendor (e.g. Epic, Oracle, other) certifications as relevant for the position, per department guidelines Preferred
  • CPHIMS, PMP, ITIL Preferred
