Job Description:

Position Summary: Responsible for development and continuous improvement of products to prevent future problems. Perform customer requirements regarding testing, reducing costs of testing, and improving component quality. Responsible for performing computer software activities relating to the design and testing of electronic components, products, and systems. Position Requirements: Assist with the development, implementation, and maintenance of the mechanical and electrical testing required to support the electronic components projects. Assist with coordination and development of the mechanical, electrical and software test requirements of the electronic component's projects. Develop and maintain test plans (DVP&R) and test requirement documents. Write lab reports and provide other written and oral reports necessary to support the projects. Support the engineering team at customer and supplier meetings. Assist with the maintenance and scheduling of test chambers and equipment. Write and maintain programming code for automated test systems, including environmental testing, automated calibration, and data analysis programs. Maintain and test cable assemblies and fixtures used for testing. Prepare specifications and costs for purchase of new test equipment. Set up and troubleshoot new test equipment and processes. Maintain compliance to current customer specific requirements as applicable. Individuals directed by management to operate a vehicle for work purposes will observe the requirements of the Fleet Safety Program. Support, promote, and perform in a manner consistent with continuous improvement goals and the values of SSI Technologies, LLC. which includes following the policies, procedures, and requirements of our Quality Management and IS0 14001 Environmental Management Systems. All other duties as assigned by your supervisor. Professional/Technical Experience, Skills and Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferred. 3-5 years related work experience, preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office, required. Other Qualifications: Excellent communication skills. Good team player with an ability to operate in a cross-functional organization. Organized, detail orientated and executes with a sense of urgency. Proven ability to manage deadlines, prioritize, multi-task. Demonstrates comfort level in interacting with all levels of the organization. Strong problem solving and analytical skills. Data driven mindset in identifying and prioritizing opportunities and issues. Strives for continuous improvement. Ability to troubleshoot issues, find root cause and initiate corrective action.
