Instructional Classroom & Support Tech 2Salary: $21.90 - $29.41/hourClassification: PT/HourlyReports to: Dean of Manufacturing & Trades The Ceramic Arts Lab Technician plays a crucial role in supporting the college's mission to provide quality education and support to a diverse student body, helping them achieve their educational and career goals.Essential Functions
Support faculty needs.
Demonstrate strong communication skills.
Support faculty instruction responsibilities as needed.
Assist in grading essays, assignments, quizzes, and exams according to the instructor's guidelines.
Assist in the development and preparation of grading rubrics, handouts, and other instructional materials.
Help organize and prepare writing exercises.
Communicate regularly with the instructor about student progress, classroom dynamics, and any issues that arise.
Assist with administrative duties such as organizing and maintaining student records, and managing course-related communications.
Provide technical support to students and instructors for accessing and navigating online course content.
Track and record grades in the learning management system or grade book.
Work with students as needed.
Provide detailed and constructive feedback on student work, focusing on areas such as thesis development, organization, grammar, and style.
Other duties as assigned.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Only candidates who are currently authorized to work in the United States will be considered.Hourly employees must work 480 hours in a rolling six-month period to become eligible for health benefits. Hourly employees must work 70 hours in any five months for two consecutive years to become eligible for retirement. This is an hourly position scheduled to work up to 18 hours per week, with a salary of $21.90. They are not initially eligible for benefits upon hire but could qualify for the following.
