Contribute to the success of the clinical trial area of the Research Administration Office by providing administrative services through the coordination and support of operations.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Operational Support and Management:
Support the daily operations of the clinical trials area of the Research Administration office, including processing subaward payments, invoicing for clinical trials, preparing and updating various financial reports utilizing Excel and other tasks as assigned.
Exercise a high level of autonomy while determining costs to invoice for on clinical trial grants.
Utilize the OnCore clinical trials management system for tracking earned revenue and initiate invoices based on that data.
Financial Responsibility:
Initiate purchasing requests for supplies and subawards. Provide receiving information on invoices against purchase orders.
Manage the subaward database. Provide continuous updates relative to new subawards and amendments. Obtain and record PI permission to pay invoices on all subawards and enter the receiving information into accounts payable system.
Input data into the receivable database to track invoicing. Reconcile invoices against payments received.
Communications Management:
Meet regularly with the Research Support Manager regarding clinical trial accounts. Communicate information relative to the accounts to faculty members as appropriate.

Supervision is received from the Research Support Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
6 months to one year of related experience is required.
Working knowledge of Excel is desired.
Working knowledge of the OnCore clinical trials management system is desired.
