This position will help grow the Direct Lending channel for NewLane Finance by targeting existing NewLane end users (and applicants) and offering additional equipment financing solutions to them to expand their relationship with NewLane. The position will (i) work closely with the Marketing team to help design the end-user marketing campaigns, (ii) be responsible for making outbound calls to the end-users who were targeted in the marketing campaigns, (iii) be responsible for all inbound calls that come from end-users who wish to pursue additional financing from NewLane, (iv) work closely with the credit team and FC's to submit all applications received promptly and immediately convey all decisions directly to the end-user, (v) work with the end-user, the end user's vendor, and NewLane's FCs to assure that the documentation and closing process is done quickly and effectively, and (vi) provide ongoing support and exceptional customer service experience to the end-users.
Essential functions:
The position requires significant phone contact (outbound and inbound) with existing and future NewLane end-users and applicants. When there are no inbound calls, the person in the role will be making outbound calls to follow up with end-users on the marketing campaigns.
Must thoroughly understand and confidently articulate to end users the benefits of leasing their equipment from NewLane. This requires a strong understanding of leasing and NewLane's product offerings and competitive differentiators.
Must have strong phone skills (i.e., friendly, confident, speak, trustworthy, responsive)
Must have strong email skills (writing clear, accurate, and effective emails to end users as needed)
Must have strong organizational skills
Must understand the NewLane underwriting and closing processes to make sure they can effectively handle many end-user transactions at different stages in the process.
Must proactively interact with Credit department colleagues (analysts and FCs) on new origination volume
Will interact daily with the Marketing team to provide feedback on the campaigns and the end-users responding.
Must interact with Sales Managers to transfer any new "Vendor" leads we obtain from the new transaction with the end-user.
Develop and maintain accurate data in the client database
Prepare credit package (financial support and other documentation as needed) for all contracts.
Achieve daily and monthly sales volume and account management quotas.
Requirements:
Existing telephonic sales experience required; comfortable making numerous outbound calls, and adept at handling large volumes of inbound calls
End-User Driven Leasing & Lending Experience a plus
Undergraduate Business Degree Preferred
Excellent phone skills are required.
Energetic, self-driven, results-oriented with a clear focus on high-quality service and profitability
Experience working within a corporate environment desired
Strong organizational and time management skills
