The Collections Specialist is responsible for collecting money for the sale of SCIEX's products and services based on fixed payment terms. Timely collections will drive significant impact to the organization and working capital. As we are a part of shared services team, there are always opportunities to learn more and participate in cross-functional

projects.

This position reports to the Manager, Accounts Receivable & Collections, and is part of the Collections Team located in Redwood City, CA and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  Make collection calls and/or generate correspondence in a fast-paced, goal-oriented collections department.

  
  


• 
  

  Provide exceptional customer service regarding collection issues as well as process customer refunds, process and review account adjustments and resolve client discrepancies and short payments

  
  


• 
  

  Monitor and maintain assigned accounts through customer calls, account adjustments, small balance write offs, customer reconciliations and processing credit memos.

  
  

The essential requirements of the job include:

• 
  

  3+ years of collections experience/accounts receivable activities

  
  


• 
  

  Exceptional customer service skills with polite phone and e-mail etiquette

  
  


• 
  

  Adept at Microsoft Office products such as MS Excel, MS Word and MS Outlook

The hourly range for this role is $31.89 - $34.75
. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
