Volt is immediately hiring for a Centerless Grinder in Gardena, California .
As a Grinder you will:
Tools they should use: Comparators, Micrometers, Calipers. Process/skills for reference: Centerless Grinding, fastener grinding, precision grinding
Buff wheel and hand tools to remove burrs on finished parts
Must be cautious when handling parts
Smooths edges and sides of manufactured parts
Inspect and finish equipment parts to ensure they fit properly into the machinery according to the specifications.
This is a full-time Temp-to-Hire opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
• The ability to read and write English/Spanish
Tools they should use: Comparators, Micrometers, Calipers. Process/skills for reference: Centerless Grinding, fastener grinding, precision grinding
• A basic knowledge of inspection tools and their proper use. • A basic knowledge of machine tools. • Capable of setting up and running parts as required.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 1st Shift, possible Saturdays 6am-2:30pm
Pay Rate : $ 20.00 to $24.00 DOE.
