JOB SUMMARY



A banquet bartender provides prompt and efficient dispensing of all beverage items available in designated outlets according to recipes and standards. They efficiently serve liquor, wine, bottled or draft beer, and non-alcoholic beverages with proper garnishes. They are knowledgeable about beverages served, their garnish, contents, and preparation methods. They mix drinks, cocktails, and other bar beverages as ordered and in compliance with company standards. They check identification of guests to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol. They follow all cash handling procedures. They collect payment for drinks served and balance all receipts as deemed necessary. They ensure that the assigned bar area is fully equipped with tools and products needed for mixing beverages and serving guests, prepare inventory or purchase requisitions as needed to replenish supplies. They demonstrate a thorough knowledge of food and beverage products, menus, and promotions. They maintain a clean working area by sweeping. Record transaction in MICROS system at time of order. Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverages. Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glass, barstool's, etc., throughout the day. Present physical and accurate check to guest and process payment. Complete closing duties, including restocking items, breaking down the bar, cleaning, handing in completed consumption sheets, turning off lights, etc.

• Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; and complete safety training and certifications.


• Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.


• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests' service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation.


• Speak with others using clear and professional language.


• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.


• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.


• Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.


• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.


• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.


• Attention to customer service with a professional and pleasant personality.


• Available to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
