We are seeking a USDA Director to manage and expand a diverse portfolio of federal contracts, providing a wide range of digital services. The Director will oversee ongoing USDA programs and collaborate closely with Project Managers, architects, and team members, acting as the primary liaison between our company and federal leadership across the portfolio.



Key Responsibilities:



Team Leadership and Development: Lead and develop a high-performing team.


Strategic Planning and Growth: Identify and plan for growth opportunities.


Business Development: Drive business development activities, including network development, strategic capture, proposal writing, and opportunity origination and pursuit.


Project Oversight and Delivery: Oversee project delivery, supporting clients' IT modernization and transformation programs.



Qualifications:

• 12+ years of experience in IT service delivery or related fields


• Experience managing large programs in the IT field or related area (USDA or Federal experience a strong plus)


• Expert knowledge of agile software development methodologies (SDLC) from planning and inception through implementation and post-production support


• Strong professional network with USDA clients and within in the Federal IT industry


• Proposal development experience including development of technical, management, and business volumes


• Solid verbal communication and narrative development skills, with the ability to summarize and convey key insights from analyses to senior audiences


• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills; balancing strategic alignment with technology roadmap and emerging industry trends with practical delivery


• Willingness to travel as the role requires up to 25%


• Requires ability to negotiate and compromise, and ability to communicate and influence senior executive leadership


• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
