As the Older Adult Intake Specialist, you'll provide support for older adults and their caregivers by conducting in-home assessments, completing required documentation, and providing referrals and resources to participants enrolled in the Meals on Wheels, Chore, and Homemaker programs. The position involves data entry, maintaining communication with caterers and volunteers and connecting older adults and their caregivers to supplemental services both agency and community wide. This part-time position (25 hours per week) is Monday-Friday, and will be based in Zumbrota. Starting pay rate is $21-23.50/hour depending on experience and qualifications.
Qualification:
Strong analytical, time management, and organizational skills with the capacity to handle multiple tasks. Extensive experience using Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook), including strong data entry skills with attention to detail. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally both verbally and in writing. High School diploma or equivalent Associate degree in a Human Services related field or 1-3 years related experience preferred.
