General Summary


This position will support the Financial Aid Department in the creation, processing, and reconciliation of the Federal loan program. They will also be a part of a team that works with students.







Essential Duties & Responsibilities



  • Practice and deliver outstanding customer service to students

  • Responsible for the origination, posting, and reconciliation of Federal loans between our two systems as well as with the federal government

  • Checks students loan limits in NSLDS

  • Be willing and able to work in a team environment

  • Complete forms such as reaffirmation forms.

  • Work with incoming and currently enrolled traditional and accelerated/online students

  • Relay information by phone, email, and mail service

  • Daily functions of the aid office as requested

  • Ability to adjust to changing needs and processes while anticipating challenges, identifying problems, and developing solutions

  • Support the mission, vision, and strategic plan of Indiana Institute of Technology.

Determine when annual goals and objectives are set with supervisor.

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred

    • Minimum of two years of experience in a financial aid role is preferred







    Working Conditions


    Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
