Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and resourceful Supply Chain/Procurement Analyst to join our team. This position plays a critical role in managing procurement processes, optimizing supply chain operations, and ensuring seamless inventory management. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record in procurement or supply chain functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the procurement lifecycle, including vendor sourcing, purchase order approvals, and contract negotiations.
Evaluate supplier performance to ensure quality standards and cost-effectiveness are met.
Monitor inventory levels and manage stock replenishment to meet operational needs while minimizing costs.
Address and resolve inventory discrepancies in collaboration with internal teams and suppliers.
Analyze large datasets to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve procurement processes.
Develop and maintain reports on procurement performance, spend analysis, and supplier compliance.
Partner with internal teams to forecast demand and align procurement strategies with business goals.
Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards.
Identify and implement improvements to procurement and supply chain workflows.
Manage back orders, equipment repairs, and other supply chain functions as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or purchasing.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with procurement software is a plus.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Envi.
Knowledge of procurement best practices and supply chain optimization strategies.
