Job Description:

Vertiv Services is responsible for maintenance and break fix repairs on power and thermal equipment used to support our customer's critical data. The Subcontract Labor Analyst will assist in the management of these Subcontracted Service companies that perform maintenance and repairs on data center support equipment. The Subcontract Labor Analyst's role will include reporting and analysis of the performance of Vertiv's Labor Subcontractors and Labor Subcontractors to performance improvement. This position will support our Subcontract Management organization. This role will manage Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and support all Subcontract Managers through program & provider analysis. It will also assist with determining a need and source, select, and qualify subcontractors. Communicate scopes of work and act as an escalation point for tactical service delivery issues.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as Local Business Partner and customer liaison for all subcontracted service performance issues. Includes problem identification, vendor communication, and customer corrective action response.
  • Provide training to Subcontractors for proper use of the Vertiv Partner Portal (VPP)
  • Manage existing metrics through spend under contract and assist in developing future state metrics to measure performance of Subcontractors.
  • Guide Invoice and Service Request (SR) resolution between Subcontractors and Vertiv.
  • Work with Subcontractors to ensure reassigned SR's are addressed to completion.
  • Manage and support new and existing service offerings as required by Vertiv Services sales including technical assistance, contract, time & material (T&M) bids/quotes and product service support presentations.
  • Manage strategic subcontractor performance using Performance Reports, Quarterly Business Reviews, and Corrective Action Requests based on Key Performance Indicators established by our team and Vertiv Services Field Operations.
  • Maintain positive, cooperative relationship with all subcontractors that enhances Vertiv image in the marketplace.
  • Support Ad Hoc Projects, as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Procurement, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 0-2 years' experience with contract management, procurement, and or related discipline and work experience.
  • Mechanical or Thermal Subcontract Service Management experience preferred.
  • Detail oriented, problem-solving skills, and ability to work with all levels within organization
  • Direct customer communication experience with strong customer service orientation.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills, and proven project leadership are essential.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, work with minimum supervision, and have well-developed organizational skills.
  • Understanding of critical space environments, Vertiv products and services, Vertiv Service subcontractor structure, and customers a plus.
  • Developed proficiency with Microsoft Office applications - Word, Excel, Power Point, Access. Oracle, Power BI, and Smartsheet experience a plus. Ability to learn new Software programs and adapt to systems quickly.
