    Summary

    The Production Administrator is responsible for assisting the Production team with day-to-day administrative tasks such as verifying and entering labor, reviewing timecards, performing periodic quality reviews, completing shipping paperwork, arranging freight, and ensuring compliance with required trainings.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Review and reconcile entered job labor by shop employees to ensure job and time accuracy
    • Track labor charged to jobs for Production Supervisors to reference in order to ensure budget is maintained
    • Organize and assist in tracking of WIP engineering release notices to ensure completion prior to shipment
    • Review/correct/approve employee timecards as requested by Production Supervisors to ensure accuracy
    • Prepare visitors work area/tables prior to the arrival of customers to our facility and in the right location by the furnace – ensure it conforms to the Ipsen EH&S Guidelines.
    • Work with Production Manager and shipping personnel to prepare packing slips
    • Assist stockroom supervisor with preparation of paperwork and arranging of freight pickups/drop-offs with Aftermarket orders
    • Review required trainings for shop personnel and ensure their compliance; schedule trainings and assist in completion.


    Requirements:

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
    • Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook)
    • Ability to write reports, and business correspondence.
    • Ability to successfully work in a cross-functional team.
    • Ability to effectively present information via spreadsheets, and computer software.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Ability to timely respond to questions from managers, production supervisors, production personnel and customers.
    • Must possess good organizational skills, the ability to work well with others, and good decision making skills

    Education and Experience

    • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
    • Associates Degree, Certificate Program or advanced education and/or training strongly preferred.
    • Minimum 2-4 years prior experience working in an industrial/manufacturing environment required.
