Hourly Wage:
$15.33 - $16.94 (candidates with significant related experience may be higher) 

Description:
Deposit Payment Specialists provide the highest level of service, accuracy and support to internal teams and Members related to researching, verifying and posting high volumes of transactions that vary in complexity and require proficient knowledge of Royal’s products and services. Identify payment issues, potential fraud items, research out of balance issues and ability to perform necessary GL and Member account adjustments. Preforms daily Automated Teller Machine (ATM) settlements, monitors terminal status and works closely with ATM vendors to correct report issues, coordinate and escalate servicing requirements.

 
Work Schedule:
Full-time, approximately 40 hours a week. Schedule is normally Monday 8:15 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and Tuesday - Friday 8:15 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Required Education/Experience/Skills:


  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Have a working knowledge of financial services and basic accounting principles.

  • Possess excellent communication skills.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Excel.

  • Analytical skills and problem-solving ability.

  • Produce accurate and high-quality materials, data entry, and transactions. 

  • Establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives under minimal supervision.

  • Work in team environment.

  • Able to pay meticulous attention to detail.

  • Function in a high-volume environment and within time constraints to meet deadlines.  


Preferred Education/Experience/Skills:

  • Associate Degree or related work experience in Accounting or Business Management.  

  • Previous experience working in a financial institution.
