OSS is seeking a Microsoft 365 Power Apps Developer to support our US Army Aviation and Missile Center customer. The work is based out of Huntsville, AL, but is currently 100% telework, either from your home office or the OSS office.  The Power Apps Developer will help our team fully exploit the Power App platform, as well as Power Automate and Power BI, leveraging Microsoft 365 Teams and SharePoint lists and libraries to provide and support capable, reliable, and intuitive applications for our customer.  In the near future, CoPilot should become available in the DoD 365 environment, allowing us to potentially integrate AI features in with our Power App based solutions.

Primary Duties:

• Develop and maintain Microsoft 365 Power App and Power Automate based applications, in the DoD 365 Teams and SharePoint Online environment


• Gather, maintain, and automate customer requirements into reliable and intuitive applications


• Debug/troubleshoot code to ensure reliability


• Support deployed solutions and the users involved

Secondary Duties:

• Collaborate with other OSS developers on Power App solutions for other customers


• Assist with potential AI-related solutioning for existing and new Power App applications


• Develop training materials and train users on solutions

Required Experience and Skills:

• 2 years web application development experience


• User interface development and data visualization


• Debugging / Troubleshooting


• Ability to understand and automate customer requirements


• Strong communication


• Effective working both independently and as part of a team environment


• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required

Preferred Experience and Technical Skills:

• 2 years programming experience with Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate


• Power BI


• Database design and stored procedure development


• Process analysis and process automation

Education and Certifications: 

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred
