Responsibilities:
Perform technical planning, system integration, verification/validation, cost and risk assessments, and effectiveness analyses for total systems solutions.
Translate customer or product requirements into logical, systematic systems solutions while considering technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
Conduct requirements analysis, traceability/flow down, and interface definition to develop hardware and software specifications.
Support systems engineering lifecycle processes, including functional analysis, trade studies, and system architecting using MBSE methodologies.
Define verification methodologies and perform detailed system verification activities.
Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams, and present findings using PowerPoint presentations.
Support integration and test activities as needed.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience.
Technical Skills:
Experience with requirements definition and management tools such as DOORS.
Proficiency with the systems engineering lifecycle, including stakeholder needs, system architecting (using MBSE tools like Cameo), and requirements definition (SRS, DRS).
Demonstrated experience in translating system-level requirements into testable modular hardware/software structures.
Tools: Strong experience with DOORS, Cameo, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Communication: Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to stakeholders.
