Job Description:

Westminster Communities of Florida, a nationally recognized not-for-profit church related organization, is seeking an experienced Director of Marketing to join our sales and marketing team in our management office near downtown Orlando. This position is for a Strategic Marketing Director at Westminster Communities of Florida, a role that demands a high level of expertise in developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies across multiple senior living communities and service lines. The position requires a strategic thinker who can navigate the complex landscape of senior living marketing while aligning with the organization's mission and objectives.

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS:


  1. Develop strategic marketing plans to support the organization's mission, goals and objectives including overall organizational strategic plans for all Westminster communities and service lines.

  2. Oversee marketing projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, cross-functional collaboration, and effective resource allocation while maintaining alignment with business objectives.

  3. Coordinate with the Director of Sales to ensure that community quarterly marketing tactical plans are consistent with the overall strategic goals.

  4. Devise program guidelines and policies, oversee implementation process, and provide quality control for marketing programs, brand initiatives.

  5. Analyze marketing results and trends to monitor the effectiveness of marketing strategies, lead generation, lead sources, conversion ratios, and revise strategies as needed to maximize outcomes and reach targeted goals.

  6. Manage relationships with external vendors and agencies, ensuring alignment with company goals, adherence to budgets, and delivery of high-quality marketing materials and campaigns.

  7. Responsible for the management and optimization of the CRM system, including training team members, collaborating with the software management company, trouble shooting issues, and serving as a subject matter expert to enhance user experience and drive organizational efficiency.

  8. Working together with the field Sales Directors, manage competitive analysis spreadsheets and pricing analysis for Westminster communities to facilitate annual budget recommendations.

  9. Develop and foster collaborative relationships with other departments within the organization to stay informed and abreast of new initiatives, products, and services.

  10. Supervises the department staff which involves direct and indirect responsibilities for interviewing, selection, training, motivating, wage and salary administration, performance appraisal, managing policies and procedures to ensure achievement of the department’s goals.

  11. Responsible for the strategic planning and operations of the department by implementing cost control measures and meeting budget goals.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:                 Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field required.

Experience:                5+ years of experience in marketing, preferably within senior living or healthcare. Non-profit sector experience preferred.

Requirements:          


  • Ability to travel throughout Westminster’s Continuum. This includes overnight stays at the communities.

  • Effective written and oral communication skills.

  • Experience managing special events independently.

  • Ability to complete multiple tasks and high volume of work on deadline.

  • Ability to follow through on assigned tasks with limited supervision.

  • Attention to detail and ability to edit and proofread;

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills;

  • Mature, professional attitude and appearance.
