As a director leading the Performance Partnership (PP) Delivery Team, you will be responsible for leading a consulting team focused on optimizing customer organizational performance. This will be achieved by the implementation of cost savings projects that track directly back to the customer's profit and loss (P&L) statement or operating report. You will lead a team responsible for the efficiency of client business processes by ensuring continuous, sustained improvement across the health system enterprise, achieved through the implementation of Danaher Business System tools and methodologies.


The ideal candidate will have lab operations, project management, and/or consultancy experience in an integrated delivery network health care system environment (Laboratory); leading project implementation with the customer of large-scale hard cost saving, process improvement and change management projects.




Essential duties and responsibilities




  • You will Lead the development and execution of "customer facing Danaher Business System" or
    Performance Partnership
    including customer consulting activities around continuous improvement leveraging "Guaranteed" financial, operational outcomes.


  • Strong understanding of customer's financial and operational KPIs
    .


  • Strong in financial, operational KPIs (externally as well as internally)




  • Stays abreast of competition and refines offerings and content to maintain competitive advantage for value added programs in the marketplace.


  • Set and create an overall discovery & delivery strategy as part of a pre-sale conversation including Statement of Work documents, for specific customers. Work with PP Principal to create a roadmap for deployment of strategy through tactical planning and execution.

  • Directs activities of Delivery Consultants and Delivery Managers within a customer engagement. Leads the overall project management of all discovery and delivery projects to ensure they are scoped correctly and ensure we can execute within the timeframe necessary.


  • Identify gaps in current project milestone deliverables and develop / implement innovative methods to close gaps to be able to provide desired results on time. Facilitate course corrections to hit milestones for cost savings sign-off by customer.


  • Work with PP Client Engagement Executive to establish a joint cadence of process governance to achieve sign off from customer partners when goals have been achieved, and projects are complete.


  • An occasional contributor to the sales process, including executive VIP presentations with executive clients, alongside the PP Principal, PP Discovery Team, and Beckman Coulter sales Health System Executive. Builds strong relationships with existing clients and new potential clients.


  • Collection of current state data points to develop proof points & marketing material
    to promote the
    success of the program. Identify product development initiatives to meet future client needs.




Qualifications




  • Mastery of continuous improvement tools.
    Lean, Kaizen, PM, and Change Management



  • Strong financial and operational business acumen



  • C-suite presence and credibility



  • Proven ability to deliver quantifiable business results both internally and externally.
    Highly desirable is proven ability to lead the management and strategy of cost savings project optimization projects for large complex customers; strong business insights and ability to analyze client commercial capabilities, identify root cause and countermeasures.


  • Superior skills in communications, training / adult learning, consulting / influencing; teamwork across disciplines, regions, and cultures





  • BS or BA Degree from an accredited institution. 20+ years track record or results/experience with proven success in continuous improvement, lab operations or consulting, and 5+ years of experience in leadership.


  • Can consult across large complex business systems and value streams regarding improvement plans focused on cost reduction and cost avoidance Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) at the C-Suite level.


  • Experience with continuous improvement tools such as L
    ean, Kaizen, Project Management and Change Management.


  • Lab Operations Experience: Need to be familiar with test menu optimization strategies (i.e., running the right test at the right time), understanding Hub and Spoke models for core, regional and other laboratory system configurations, inventory management, blood management, equipment capacity and staff productivity.


  • Proven ability to lead the management and strategy of cost savings project optimization projects for large complex customers; strong business insights and ability to analyze client commercial capabilities, identify root cause and countermeasures.


  • Excellent communication and presentation skills required.


  • Ability to accurately assess key business metrics and situations from a "general manager's" point of view; effective at structured problem solving and critical thinking.


  • Ability to implement key growth initiatives; successfully leads change, manages conflict / ambiguity.


  • Willingness to travel 50-70% with the potential for future international travel.

The base salary range for this role is $215,000-$230,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.



This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
