As the Facilities Manager, you'll support retail locations and distribution centers across a specific territory, helping vendors and landlords deliver excellent service related to property management and maintenance. You'll coordinate efforts between multiple business areas and provide project management for repairs and large-scale maintenance-related projects. You'll act as the single point of contact for retail field leadership and provide guidance related to your territory. Additionally, you'll manage profit and loss for your stores and distribution centers by analyzing trends and significant areas of impact to the company.
This role is hybrid, which means you will be required to work some days on-site at the Best Buy location listed on this posting (Richfield, MN) and some days virtually from home or other non-Best Buy location. What you'll do
Effectively manage vendor partner service providers, optimizing cost, quality and speedProvide clear, concise communication to stakeholders, including updates and resolution statusIndependently solve repairs and maintenance issues in a timely manner while managing financial impactNegotiate with multiple parties, including vendors, landlords, multiple levels of retail management and corporate partnersAssist with the annual business review of suppliers, including evaluating delivery time and price
Basic qualifications
4 years of facility management, property management or other property-related experience2 years of project management experienceAbility to travel 10-15% of the year
