Job Description:

What will you do?



  • ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

    • Operates and maintains industrial Wastewater Treatment Plant and troubleshoots as necessary to resolve issues.

    • Monitor the performance of all equipment, gauges and charts in the treatment plant.

    • Follows procedures regarding cleaning, equipment use , maintenance, calibration, and safe handling of chemicals.

    • Collects samples and conducts the in-plant tests necessary to control and monitor treatment facility processes and operation.

    • Performs in-plant operational control tests and process calculations, using various analytical instruments (Spectrophotometer) and mathematical calculations.

    • Records in-plant test results, various meter readings, gauge reading, flow quantities and other technical data.

    • Add chemicals to treat water and other liquids.



    • Moving, organizing and storing chemicals.

    • Operate WWTP in accordance with the current permit requirements and parameters .

    • Maintain records including titrations and release quantities.

    • Troubleshoot all equipment in the Wastewater Treatment system .

    • Perform basic functions in hazardous and special waste disposal with the Environmental Health and Safety team.

    • Willingness to complete training from certified Wastewater consultants and chemical providers.

    • Required to complete Hazcom training and Schneider Electric internal training .

Who will you report to?
  • Industrial Engineer / Maintenance Supervisor

Must have High School diploma. 2-year degree preferred.
P.I.T. License Preferred.
Willingness to learn.
Basic understanding of chemistry (dilution rates, titrations, and basics of water treatment).
Understanding of proper handling of hazardous materials.
