Location: Johnstown, Pennsylvania
o Oversight and analysis of Auxiliary Budgets and Operations: Includes direct supervision of vendor-run bookstore, drink and food vending contracts, Conference Services, and laundry services. Works in conjunction with the Executive Director of Housing and Dining for oversight of housing and dining revenue and expenses.
o Management of all other auxiliary budgets including sports camps, Orientation, Wellness Center, parking, and general auxiliary operations.
o Leadership of the Purchasing department on all contracts and services agreements. Provides direct supervision of Purchasing Manager.
o Direct supervision of Conference Services management to ensure proper pricing, customer service and contract negotiations follow university standards and practices.
o Oversight of Pasquerilla Performing Arts Center budget and operations.
o Project Management: Act as a project manager with the implementation of the newly purchased property at 500 Schoolhouse Road to include asset management and space utilization. Also provide management of other projects on an as-needed basis.
Assists in the complex management of daily operations and concurrent administrative functions of a major University organizational unit or a major academic and research department within a school or college. Controls expenditures, develops projects, and ensures regulatory compliance.
Must be able to understand university information systems, financial reports and relevant data. Must have strong organization, project management and communication skills. Must understand the needs of college students in today’s educational environment.
Minimal physical effort is required. Mostly sedentary.
