Strategic Analysis, Inc (SA) is seeking a versatile, skilled Immunology SETA to support the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) Resilient Systems Office (RSO) PM activities. The ARPA-H mission is to accelerate better health outcomes for everyone by supporting the development of high-impact solutions to society's most challenging health problems.
Responsibilities:
1. The job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: manage new and existing programs. Specifically, the candidate will be expected to conduct thorough scientific evaluation of the current R&D landscape to identify gaps in research portfolios to address critical needs that are aligned with the ARPA-H mission, monitor and track performers progress toward established metrics, be able to read and digest complex information, develop briefings for technical and non-technical audiences.
2. The candidate will be expected to integrate into an existing team to support current ARPA-H efforts and be able to operate .
3. Provide internal, subject matter expertise on the state of systems immunology concepts and technologies
4. Provide insights on conceptual and technical soundness of programmatic goals in the context of assessment and modulation of the immune and inflammatory response
5. Help set goals, expectations, and budgets for projects involving area of expertise
6. Help in review and oversight of performance of funded projects in area of expertise
Experience:
A successful Immunology SETA will incorporate the following skills and experiences:
1. Experience in state of the art systems immunology
2. Experience in computational modeling and/or machine learning/AI
3. Experience with budgeting, program management
4. Strong PowerPoint and Excell skills, which include proficiency with key board shortcuts and ability to create PPT slides and Excel files on the fly during a meeting in a high-pressure environment.
5. Strong oral and written communication skills are required. Other tasks include some basic administrative tasks such as collecting, sorting, analyzing, and writing Internal programmatic reports/briefings on relevant topics in a health-related field. Some CONUS travel is expected (~10-20%) as needed to fully support the Program and Program Manager.
6. Previous experience with basic and applied research and prior support to Program Managers in an R&D environment, is preferred. 7. The ideal candidate must be flexible to work outside standard business hours to meet deadlines. Professional curiosity, continuous drive for learning, and the ability to focus on assigned tasks are critical attributes of the ideal candidate.

Education
Ph.D required in Systems Immunology opr similar field
Clearance
HHS, NIH Public Trust (Ability to obtain)
Experience
A minimum of 5+ years working with senior leadership in a professional environment.
