Main Objective:
The Video Editor uses discretion and judgement to edit video and other multimedia to create compelling storyline/presentations consistent with Arthrex's corporate image and identity.
Essential Functions:
Edit video assets for Arthrex including surgical technique videos, training materials, product demonstration videos, promotional videos, and motion graphics.
Offload or ingest all media into appropriate storage locations and verify media transferred successfully as well as provide quality control for all recorded footage.
Organize footage, sequences and titles for all Adobe CC projects.
Collaborate with requesters and provide creative solutions and suggestions.
Edit select content in coordination with Product Management, the Marketing Department, and the Medical Education Department to produce high-quality digital media that educates our audiences.
Contribute creative storytelling ideas for structure and consistency.
Color correct and grade video footage utilizing vectorscopes, RGB parade and waveform monitor.
Follow standards and guidelines for consistent corporate identity.
Maintain project status within the Arthrex Marketing Resource Management system and Media Production applications.
Maintain all files in the Arthrex Media Asset Management system.
Availability to work weekends when necessary.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
5 years of related experience or Associates Degree and 2 years of related experience required
3 years of experience in Adobe Premiere Pro editing and content creation required
3 years of experience in Adobe After Effects required

Considerable working knowledge of best practices for post-production workflow
Intermediate knowledge in the use of Adobe CC applications
Knowledge of color correction and stylized grading
Ability to mix multitrack audio projects
Ability to repair and enhance audio
Ability to create 3D camera and lighting effects, masking, and shot tracking.
Working knowledge of anatomy and anatomical terms of location preferred
Knowledge of orthopedic surgery principles, theories, and products preferred
Travel up to 20%
