We are looking for a QC Inspector to support our production goals through consistent quality work!

As the quality inspector, you will uphold the safety regulations of our company and supervise the production process to guarantee that all our products meet quality expectations.

The chosen candidate will perform regular product evaluations, record inspection results, and recommend improvements to the production process. To excel in this role, applicants should demonstrate great attention to detail with excellent technical and math abilities.

Duties/Expectations:


  • Perform regular quality assessments on all incoming materials from vendors and outgoing products for shipping.

  • Reject all products and materials that fail to meet quality expectations. Issue NCR when required.

  • Read blueprints, plans, and specifications to understand the requirements of products and services.

  • Measure product dimensions, examine functionality, and compare the final product to the specifications.

  • Recommend improvements to the production process to ensure quality control.

  • Document inspection outcomes by completing detailed reports and performance records.

  • Resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner.

  • Determining the causes of product defects and reworks

  • Verifying all equipment is calibrated correctly

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Perform inspections at vendor/supplier as required.

Physical Requirements:


  • Mobility in plant

  • Ability to lift at least 45 pounds

  • Visual hearing abilities with or without correction

  • Communication Skills

Education/Experience Requirements:


  • 3-5 years machine shop experience

  • CWI is a plus

Required Skills:


  • Basic computer skills

  • Customer service skills

  • Fabrication skills

  • Bilingual a plus

  • Basic Math skills, shop math trigonometry

  • Ability to read and work from blueprints and operator instructions

  • Ability to read precision measuring instruments, height gauges, calibration of hand tools

  • Welding and Piping fabrication experience.

  • Knowledge on Non-Destructive Examination MT and PT (with minimum Certificate of attendance to formal training for 40 hours of classroom/online training)
