JOB TITLE: RACK PULLER/ hanger




I.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB

The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to:


Removing the racks from the line to free up the product for the scalers to work on.


The Rack Puller assists with de-stacking the racks of products pulls any racks that may be empty to free up the product for the scalers to work on Must be able to work in damp/cool conditions. Pull empty racks off of the belt and hang the empty ones on the rack line. Must be able to lift rack baskets weighing 5- 8 pounds


II. MUSCULAR/SKELETAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB


1. Must be able to get to and from their work stations.
2. Must be able to use hands and arms to pull and hang racks over the head
3. Must be able to use a gripping motion with hands to pick up trays/racks
4. Must be able to stand the duration of shift approximately an average of 8 hours.
5. Bending, twisting and turning body from side and to side to see and keep up with product.
6. Must have good hand/eye coordination to safely conduct job


III. TYPES OF EQUIPMENT REQUIRED TO OPERATE FOR THE POSITION


Gloves and slip resistant footwear. Must wear PPE ear protection (plugs or muffs), hair bonnet and beard guard.



Rehire Criteria:




Rehire criteria is a minimum waiting period of 180 days.
