Utility Labeling



This position is responsible for maintaining product flow, relieving team members online for breaks and filling in during labor shortages while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.


The Utility position works on the floor doing multiple tasks. Including but not limited to pushing racks, stacking racks and wheels, stacking off, moving pallets, rack hanging, and any other duties assigned by management.


Giving breaks as needed.


Must be able to keep accurate box counts and read orders.


Must be able to lift 70 plus pounds stacking boxes of poultry.


Must be able to repetitively lift boxes, wheels and racks and stack in required patterns.


Must be able to lift above shoulder level.


Must be to get to and from their workstation.


Must be able to use hands and arms to stack boxes, wheels and stack or hang racks above head.


Must be able to use a gripping motion with hands.


Must be able to stand the duration of shift.


Bending, twisting, and turning body from side and to side to see and keep up with product. Must have good hand/eye coordination to safely conduct job


Standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, and reaching are required. Lifting is required in many areas (weight depends on area.) These positions work in a cold, damp or hot, humid environment, and these areas may have slippery walking surfaces.



Occasionally you may be asked to operate a forklift, pallet jack, etc.
