Zurich (Schaumburg, IL) seeks a Business Systems Analyst III to be part of the Data Management unit of Information Technology Services. Specific duties include: document data transformation requirements for the data integration projects and release workstreams; prepare detailed worked example for the data scenarios and calculations modules; support user acceptance testing by addressing data related queries raised by the UAT users; work closely with the data integration developers to address data quality and data transformation related observations; work with Insurance application system design/analysis using Rapid Application Development (RAD) tools/techniques; generate adhoc data reports for the business users to address data related questions from business users; collaborating on data management and integration tasks related to Reinsurance, Claims, and Policy Administration areas in the insurance industry; working as a liaison between Business and Technical Development Team; collaborating on Agile Scrum Team for seamless data integration, participating in stand-ups and sprint planning; embracing Agile Scrum Methodology, actively engaging in retrospectives and utilizing JIRA Tool to prioritize and deliver data requirements effectively; writing Complex SQL Queries for Validating the Data connecting Various Systems; validating Business Objects Universe & Dashboard Reports; contribute to the overall improvement of data management processes and workflows; ensure accurate and consistent data flow between different systems; provide guidance and support to business users during testing and implementation phases. Option to work remotely with required travel to local offices as needed, if within 50 miles of remote worksite.
Position requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, or a closely related field of study, plus 7 years of experience in the job offered, or as Assistant Consultant, or similar position analyzing business systems. Must have 7 years of experience working with each of the following: analysis of various commercial lines insurance; developing use case; process modeling tools using LEAN/Six Sigma; process reengineering; JIRA; Microsoft SQL Server; MS Access; Sprint Planning; Sprint Demo; and Retrospective. Must also have 6 years of experience with each of the following: working with Rapid Application Development tools; working with Informatica ETL; conducting user story review meetings with Product Owner, Development and Testing team; and performing impact analysis. Option to work remotely with required travel to local offices as needed, if within 50 miles of remote worksite.
