RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are seeking a hands-on Angular Development Manager to lead and actively contribute to the development of Angular-based applications. This role combines technical leadership with active participation in coding and problem-solving, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, user-friendly applications. Key Responsibilities:

Serve as a hands-on development manager, contributing to the codebase at least 30% of the time.
Lead by example in designing and implementing Angular applications, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.
Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and test engineers to deliver well-crafted features that enhance user experience.
Oversee the team's Agile/Scrum processes, ensuring effective planning, execution, and delivery.
Drive the development of new features and improvements to existing functionalities, focusing on quality and usability.
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Hands-on Angular Development Manager in South Jordan, UT.

Essential Functions:


  • Angular Development Manager will provide architectural direction and contribute to the breakdown of complex projects into manageable tasks with realistic timelines

  • Perform code reviews, write unit tests, and support the team in adhering to best coding practices

  • Mentor and train team members, fostering their technical growth and confidence

  • As an Angular Development Manager, you will partner with backend API teams to ensure seamless integration of front-end and server-side components

  • Collaborate with mobile development teams on shared features and cross-platform initiatives







REQUIREMENTS:



  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

  • 8+ years of professional software development experience

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience building and maintaining complex applications, with expertise in software architecture, performance optimization, and debugging

  • At least 3 years of experience leading development teams while remaining actively involved in coding

  • Strong proficiency in Angular 4+ and front-end technologies such as JavaScript (ES8+), HTML5, and CSS3

  • Experience with test-driven development, automated testing, and associated frameworks

  • Familiarity with tools like Webpack, Node.js, and Electron

  • Expertise in CSS preprocessors such as Less or Sass

  • In-depth experience with scalable vector graphics (SVG) and editing tools

  • Proven ability to design and maintain modular, reusable, and testable front-end components

  • Experience managing and contributing to a living, complex codebase built on a modern stack

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration across teams

  • A passion for mentoring and a commitment to building a supportive, growth-oriented team culture

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of continuous integration and delivery processes (e.g., GitHub Actions)

  • Experience with animations, graphics, and performance optimization tools

  • Familiarity with automated UI testing frameworks

  • Understanding of Open API standards (e.g., Swagger)

  • Experience with push notifications, in-app purchases, and subscription models

  • Working knowledge of internationalization (i18n) and native mobile development

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.



We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
