RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in South Jordan, UT that is seeking a motivated and hands-on Lead Angular Developer to lead and contribute to the development of Angular-based applications that seamlessly integrate with hardware products. This role involves active participation in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including planning, execution, and release. Responsibilities:


  • Act as a Technical Engineering Manager with approximately 30% hands-on coding

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, test engineers, and designers, to develop and maintain Angular applications

  • Lead Agile/Scrum development processes and ensure timely delivery of projects

  • Guide the team in implementing new features, enhancing existing functionalities, and improving application quality

  • Provide technical direction, including architecture, work-breakdown structures, estimates, and schedules

  • Apply software engineering design patterns to create efficient, scalable, and maintainable code

  • Conduct code reviews, write unit and UI tests, and contribute to architectural planning and code refactoring

  • Promote and enforce best coding practices within the team

  • Collaborate with backend API teams to ensure seamless integration

  • Coordinate with mobile teams to implement cross-platform features

  • Train, mentor, and develop engineering team members







REQUIREMENTS:



  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

  • 8+ years of professional software development experience

  • 5+ years of experience leading teams focused on building complex apps, with expertise in software architecture, multi-threading, memory optimization, and performance

  • 3+ years of experience managing software engineering teams

  • Strong proficiency in Angular 4+ and related front-end technologies such as JavaScript (ES8+), HTML5, and CSS3

  • Experience with test-driven development, automated testing, and testing frameworks

  • Familiarity with tools such as Webpack, Node.js, and Electron

  • Experience with CSS preprocessors like Less or Sass

  • Hands-on expertise with scalable vector graphics (SVG) and vector editing tools

  • Proven ability to design modular, reusable, and testable front-end components

  • Experience maintaining and scaling complex, modern codebases

  • A keen eye for design and attention to detail, with a focus on translating visual concepts into functional code

  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills

  • Ability to independently learn and apply new technologies

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with continuous integration and delivery tools (e.g., GitHub Actions)

  • Experience with animations, graphics, and performance optimization techniques

  • Knowledge of automated UI functional testing

  • Understanding of Open API standards (e.g., Swagger)

  • Experience with push notifications, in-app purchases, and subscription services

  • Working knowledge of internationalization (i18n) and native mobile development






The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.



We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
