Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Planning & Initiatives lead to join the GTM Planning & Business Operations team within the Chief Commercial Officer org (CCO) . The Chief Commercial Office is a cross-functional team within the GTM organization that tackles key challenges facing our customers, partners, and go-to-market teams by identifying and addressing opportunities and threats to NetApp's business with the primary outcome ensuring the effective long-term growth of revenue and profits.

In this role, you will work closely with a diverse set of strategic and operational stakeholders to drive the planning, integration, and implementation of the GTM strategy. The daily tasks will include setting priorities, planning, fostering cross-functional engagement within GTM, and ensuring accountability through the right programs and review cadence. The candidate should have experience in leading strategic business programs in cross-functional environments and in building scalable mechanisms to support growth, in addition to strong business acumen and collaboration skills.

Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead strategic planning initiatives, drive business decisions, and integrate implementation plans to support NetApp's growth objectives

  • Develop and implement a planning cadence that drives effective annual and quarterly planning, as well as post initiative evaluations to capture lessons learned and process improvement opportunities

  • Analyze existing process gaps and define solutions to close them. Drive towards simple, scalable solutions

  • Build accountability cadence to drive quarterly and annual business reviews for the organizations' key initiatives, determine the right systems and tools to support the organization in monitoring and managing KPIs

  • Assist teams in responding to, investigating, managing, and resolving complex issues and escalations

  • Report on organization priority status, progress and outcomes to senior leadership and stakeholders

  • Collaborate with team members and key stakeholders to implement initiatives and org priorities effectively

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

  • Proactive and self-motivated attitude, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in business operations or strategic planning, with at least 3 years in a Global Sales organization

  • Proven track record of driving operational excellence and improving business processes.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.

Compensation:
The target salary range for this position is 163,000 - 230,000 USD. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off (PTO), various Leave options, Performance-Based Incentives, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU's), with all offerings subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies. Benefits may vary by country and region, and further details will be provided as part of the recruitment process.
