Schneider Electric has an opportunity for a Maintenance Generalist in our Oxford, OH location. You will be primarily accountable for the performing root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions for process related concerns. This position is on our 2nd Shift which runs from 4:30pm to 3:00am.

What will you do?

    Perform work consisting of, but not limited to, the maintenance, repair and adjustment of plant machinery and equipment and the installation, testing and repair of electrical circuits to build and manufacture equipment.
    \n
  • \n

    Diagnose and correct machinery and equipment defects.
    \n
  • \n
  • \n
    Make repair parts.
    \n
  • \n
  • \n
    Changes and maintains batteries.
    \n
  • \n
  • \n
    Work from drawings, sketches, prints and schematic diagrams.
    \n
  • \n
  • \n
    Make detailed sketches for the manufacture of repair parts by others.
    \n
  • \n
  • \n
    Use cutting and welding equipment.
    \n
  • \n
  • \n
    Install conduit, wire, motors, switchgear, switches, contactors, and control devices.
    \n
  • \n
  • \n
    Repair welders, chargers, motors, rectifiers and controls to building and manufacturing equipment.
    \n
  • \n
  • \n
    Maintain quality standards.
    \n
  • \n
  • \n
    Maintain good housekeeping.
    \n
  • \n
  • \n
    Adhere to plant regulations and safety rules.

  • \n
    Utilize all necessary tools, manuals and equipment to efficiently perform the job.

  • High school or equivalent (Required)
  • \n
  • Maintenance Certification and/or degree (Required)

  • Maintenance: 2 years (Preferred)
  • \n
  • Program Logic Control: 1 year (Preferred)
