We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our growing team. The successful candidate will manage financial records, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support the accounting team with day-to-day bookkeeping tasks. Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring all financial transactions are properly recorded.
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements.
Prepare and submit payroll, ensuring timely and accurate payment.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
Prepare financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Handle tax filings and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Review and verify invoices, expenses, and financial documents for accuracy.
Assist with audits and financial reviews.
Maintain filing systems for accounting records and financial documents.
Assist with budgeting and forecasting as needed.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree in Accounting or related field preferred).
Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Experience with bookkeeping software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, FreshBooks).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with others.
Knowledge of payroll processing and tax filing is a plus.
