Perform product and process audits, assist in corrective actions and update documents within the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure customer satisfaction by ensuring all finished goods produced meet customer specifications and standards.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Support plant personnel on daily quality concerns and issue and communicate quality alerts, as needed.
Audit compliance with existing procedures and requirements, including paperwork at the press and process variances.
Audit finished good and report findings to production and quality personnel.
Document NCRs and perform investigations to determine possible reasons for variance.
Perform correlation studies and conduct in-house calibration and schedule outsourcing calibration services.
Support the QMS by updating documentation and aid in writing procedures and work instructions. Coordinate scrap/reclaim/repairs and rework processes.
Work in a safe and efficient manner using all personal protective, safety equipment and devices that are required, in accordance with all STW documentation (if STW is not developed for any process within this job, proper training techniques must be followed).
Be actively involved in Continuous Improvement; promote and sustain all CI, 5S and STW activities.
Education Required:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Vocational or Technical Degree desired
Work Experience
Previous exposure to quality systems - ISO related processes
6 months experience or training with plastic injection molding, production or assembly experience (desired)
