The Inbound Scheduler is responsible for coordinating a continuous flow of inbound packaging and raw materials to ensure an uninterrupted material supply to meet scheduled production, as well as managing the inventory of those materials in a manner which optimizes cash flow and minimizes the risk of obsolescence. What are we looking for?
5+ years of Supply Chain experience. Scheduling and operations experience is preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills and able to effectively deal with internal and external customers.
SAP, MRP, ERP systems knowledge, understanding of MOQ, Lead Time and Safety Stock. Experience and knowledge of Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Exhibits strengths related to collaborative relationships, sense of urgency, and ability to manage constant change with a strong drive for results.
Associate degree or equivalent required. A bachelor's degree is preferred.
What will be your key responsibilities?
Utilizes superior project management and execution approaches to ensure required customer service levels from our suppliers which support products manufactured for the factory. Ultimate responsible for ensuring fulfillment for the site, including but not limited to: materials management strategy that balances desired service levels with cash flow management and obsolescence minimization, ensuring that systemic service, quality and performance issues are mitigated or elevated if necessary to procurement ops, and executing against sourcing strategies to mitigate supply risks.
Responsible for implementing best-in-class supplier management tools to deliver required performance metrics. Leverage KPI's to manage Supplier and Inventory continuous Improvement targets while securing long term fixes. Responsible for developing the Supplier Owned Inventory Strategy (SOI) for the site taking into account inventory targets, incoming products, vendor sourcing and floor space allocation. Manages the inventory levels of high dollar & high impact materials to ensure inventory KPI's are met each period while maintaining high service levels.
Responsible for Site Specific Improvement Activities, such as TPM teams, ISO Audit responsibilities, back up to other Logistic Team members as needed. Responsible for training necessary to support procurement functions including Supplier Owned Inventory, vendor forecasting, material purchasing and invoice clearing.
Responsible for the support of all new product launches, line extensions, and execution of continuous improvement programs as it relates to direct materials. Proactively works with strategic suppliers to ensure the delivery of continuous improvement ideas and technology which ultimately leads to competitive advantage and revenue generating opportunities. Fully responsible for reviewing item set up in SAP and accuracy of data governance compliance. Transition to minimize packaging write offs, raw material expiration and plant waste.
