About the Role

We are eager to discuss the prospect of you joining our team as our next incredible team member!

This position reports to the VP, Business Banking Sales Manager and allows you to partner with other team members and key stakeholders to provide Incredible Customer Experiences of your own! Duties and responsibilities may include:

• Learns the products, processes, networks, and functions to enable an individual to eventually progress to the Business Banking Officer role and oversee their own portfolio of clients.
• Assists Business Banking Officers with their customer relationships as well as underwriting and approving new financing transactions by providing quality financial and industry analyses as part of the deal team.
• Gathers the necessary business, financial, and personal background information required to perform standard financial analysis - uses and analyzes spreadsheets to identify cash flow.
• Analyzes financial statements in accordance with IB loan policies and credit culture to make sound credit decisions.
• Participates in meetings with customers and creates connections on a personal level to make every interaction meaningful and deepen the relationship. Enhances relationships and builds network through customer site visits and completion of annual reviews, in partnership with the Business Banking Officers.
• Obtains a solid understanding of commercial underwriting including the principles, practices, and procedures commonly used in business lending and credit analysis.
• Ensures timely, efficient, and accurate underwriting of basic commercial loan requests, renewals, and modifications with guidance from team members and/or followed by review.
• Aids in the creation of credit memos and understands and/or utilizes the '5 C's of Credit' to determine the credit worthiness of a borrower- character, collateral, capacity, capital, and conditions.
• Participates in all activities through the sales cycle in order to prepare an individual for the Business Banking Officer role.
• Cross-trains and shadows in a variety of verticals, including but not limited to business/specialty banking, SBA, mortgage, Micro-business banking, business services, and the branch network.
• Assists with Bank business development initiatives and represents the Bank in the local community through active participation in community affairs.
• Serves as an ambassador of the IncredibleBank brand, enhancing Bank reputation and developing additional business opportunities and centers of influence. Represents the bank with honesty and integrity while delivering high levels of customer service in all interactions.

This is a regular full-time salaried exempt position, averaging approximately 40 hours/week. Schedule may vary between the hours of 8:00 am to 5:30 pm CST Monday through Friday.

This position will work on-site at one of our IncredibleBank branch locations in the Wausau, WI area. Occasional travel may be requested based on business need.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business Management and 1-2 years sales experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated customer relationship management and/or business development experience required.
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills required.
• Prior commercial underwriting experience a plus.
• Prior experience working in a digital office environment that utilizes database management systems and/or loan origination software to communicate with the core operating system a plus.
