The HR/Recruiting Team is responsible for assigned duties in the recruiting and HR functions as well as performing in a lead role that requires working with the Human Resources Manager and others in Compliance roles to assist with ensuring that team members are assimilating and appropriately developing and maintaining understanding of their job duties.
This role will be expected to perform duties in the Recruiting function and the HR function on an approximate 50%/50% basis.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
· Develop recruitment plans to include active and passive sourcing, real time position fulfillment as well as pipelining for future openings and specific outreach opportunities;
· Ensure that applicant tracking is maintained, complete and meets compliance standards;
· Develop a strong understanding of our positions and duties;
· Represent the company at colleges & universities to support our On-Campus Recruitment programs;
· Influence, manage and maintain recruitment policies and selection procedures;
· Work closely with the Human Resources Manager and other Recruiters to build consistent position descriptions and requirements;
· Work closely with the Human Resources Manager regarding organizational standards in the recruitment process;
· Influence and educate hiring managers with regards to AA requirements and processes on an on-going basis;
· Develop strong understanding of employment arrangements that are available through the company;
· Ensure appropriate internal communications throughout the selection, offer and hire processes (hiring managers, IT, Human Resources, Accounting);
· Provide oversight on leaves under the FMLA and STD/LTD provisions and contribute to administration during staff absences or periods of higher workload volume;
· Participate (contribute to administration during absences and higher workload volume) and provide oversight on multiple drug screening programs to include multiple random screening programs;
· Work closely with HR manager with regards to performance management and performance corrective action processes;
· Work closely with Human Resources Manager with regard to staffing levels (periods of growth as well as periods of reductions in staffing;
· May assist with policy development and implementation.
Qualifications
· High School diploma or the equivalent required;
· Bachelor's degree preferred;
· Requires a minimum of ten (10) years' work history that demonstrates ability to engage with recruiting as well as human resources initiatives simultaneously;
· Requires experience with third-party drug screen programs such as client auditors and consortiums with the ability to integrate with Company programs;
· Requires work history that includes job description development and development of interview practices for managers;
· Requires strong working knowledge of the FLSA;
· Experience in the Oil & Gas, Utilities, Marine & Terminal or engineering consulting industries preferred;
· Ability to adapt between manual and electronic processes;
· Ability to adjust to rapid changes in priorities;
· Ability to coach hiring managers with regards to compliance and selection methods;
· Ability to provide direction and guidance to administrative staff required;
· Strong Microsoft Office skills (Microsoft Word in required and Teams preferred);
· Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
Working Conditions:
· Forty-hour workweek, M-Thurs 7:30-5:30 in office; flexible schedule with core hours may be discussed, Friday 7:30-11:30 work from home;
· Work is primarily conducted in an office environment (Private or Semi-Private office) but may require occasional travel to off-site work locations;
· Interaction with other team members, as well as supervisors and client personnel;
· May be required to travel out of town on a periodic basis.

· Must be able to lift and carry ordinary business items estimated at five (5) pounds;
· Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing or other communication capabilities which permits employee to communicate effectively;
· Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time;

· Sufficient manual dexterity which permit the employee to perform routine office duties;
· Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes to perform office duties and travel when necessary to off-site locations.
