Job Summary
The Director of KU Presents will provide visionary leadership for Kutztown University's performing arts series, ensuring the program engages both the campus and surrounding community through a diverse range of high-quality performing arts experiences. The director will identify and contract with professional talent who will provide artistically and culturally significant performances that enrich both the campus community and the general public of the region (East Penn Valley, Berks County and the Lehigh Valley, PA). The director will enhance and solicit funding for the series through corporate partnerships, grant writing, ticket sales, subscriptions, fundraising activities and marketing. The successful candidate will serve as executive director of the Kutztown University Arts Society, with a mission that supports, promotes, and creates meaningful arts engagement opportunities between the campus community of Kutztown University and the greater community-at-large through programs, events and educations outreach. This includes the PLAY series, which brings students from area school districts to campus for field trips to view special performances. The position manages three staff members (two full-time and one part-time).

The starting salary for this position is $84,500.00.
