As the Head of MAP Commercialization, you'll lead transformative programs and have the unique opportunity to develop groundbreaking products to redefine the retail media industry for the largest company in North America. Reporting to the VP, GM of Sam's Club MAP, you will lead a dynamic team of 6+ associates and create our MAP Commercialization efforts across a variety of products and markets. With over 10 years of experience in product development, commercialization, and go-to-market strategies, you will launch the latest adtech/martech solutions. What you'll do...




  • Predict future trends and developments for the MAP function or unit.


  • Lead the process of defining and implementing the MAP strategy for multiple products and markets.


  • Create a system to organize and document MAP programs.


  • Advocate for the development and partnering of new technologies for the MAP function.


  • Lead the implementation of major MAP programs and offerings.


  • Develop organizational sales qualification processes.


  • Mentor team members on alternative ways to evaluate the value of sales.


  • Design sales scoping and qualification strategies.


  • Promote the use of new sales qualification methodologies and technologies.


  • Collaborate with partners in the value chain to achieve beneficial working relationships and positive outcomes.


  • Facilitate cross team thinking and brainstorming activities to collectively create and share ideas.


  • Resolve issues related to collaborative efforts in varying business conditions.


  • Present to diverse organization-wide audiences, positioning arguments/data with well-structured stories.


  • Monitor industry and vendor trends and the directions of data analysis technologies.


  • Consult on modeling, tools, techniques, strategies, and the use of reusable information.


  • Gather, summarize, and prioritize ideas for new products, or new versions of existing products.


  • Design strategies to inspire team members to improve customer service delivery.


  • Evaluate the benefits and drawbacks of multiple delivery mechanisms on product training.


  • Direct the selection of resources and approaches for training on advanced product functions.


  • Develop end-user training programs using client assessments.


  • Report on current products, histories, evolutions, and future plans to partners.


  • Develop and implement strategies to attract an experienced and engaged workforce.


  • Cultivate an environment where associates adhere to company standards of integrity and ethics.






What you'll bring...




  • 10+ years' experience in related fields such as product development, commercialization, go-to-market strategy, business development.


  • 10+ years of leadership experience in the retail media/digital search/eCommerce space.


  • 6 years' experience in business development, market development, or related area.


  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, information technology, business, finance, marketing and sales, healthcare, or related area.


  • Proficiency in data analysis and the use of business data analysis software.


  • Successful in bringing adtech/martech products to market.


  • Size demand trends in adtech/martech product design.


  • Navigate cross-functional partners during the sequencing of product build in adtech/martech design.


  • Demonstrated knowledge of the retail media industry and future trends such as privacy, cookie deprecation, and universal ID.


  • Demonstrated ability to react and adapt to rapidly changing industry dynamics without emotional attachment to projects.

The annual salary range for this position is $156,000.00-$312,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
