Maintains teammotivation and engagement. Mentors less experienced associates and managers.Project Scope: Owns complex projects end-to-end for a business area, category or prototype. Manages risk associated with implementation.Model Development: Develops data models (algorithms, approaches) for complex projects within a business area or category to drive businessresults and value. Collaborates with project team to implement modeling solutions.Proof of Concept and Prototype: Manages the development and implementation of prototypes and production-ready complex algorithms for complexprojects. Manages the testing and validation process to monitor the solution. Evaluates new data analysis techniques to support prototypedevelopment. Collaborates with cross-functional partners (e.g., software engineering, category management) on prototypes and algorithms.Data Collection and Analysis: Leads the development and execution of advanced analytics to address unique business and technical problems, andsupport data-driven decision making. Makes strategic recommendations to cross-functional leadership based on analysis results. Collaborates acrossall analytics functions to develop and implement data analysis strategies and anticipate future trends and analysis.Collaboration: Collaborates with functional leadership and cross-functional teams (e.g., Categories, Customer Experience, Merchandising) to developconsultative solutions for complex projects for a business area, category or prototype. Collaborates and partners with external business partners andvendors.Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and communicating businessplans and priorities; removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; providing resources; identifying performance standards; measuringprogress and adjusting performance accordingly; developing contingency plans; and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning.Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by selecting and training; mentoring; assigning duties; building a team-based workenvironment; establishing performance expectations and conducting regular performance evaluations; providing recognition and rewards; coachingfor success and improvement; and ensuring diversity awareness.Promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by training and providing direction toothers in their use and application; ensuring compliance with them; and utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy.Ensures business needs are being met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives; consulting with businesspartners, managers, co-workers, or other key stakeholders; soliciting, evaluating, and applying suggestions for improving efficiency and cost effectiveness; and participating in and supporting community outreach events. Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. Hoboken, New Jersey US-10649:The annual salary range for this position is $108,000.00-$216,000.00
Sunnyvale, California US-08479:The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00-$234,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
