Position: Customer Service Representative Reports to: Customer Service & Logistics Manager
Shift: 8 Hour Shift

What you'll be contributing:
Adhere to all safety guidelines according to plant and MSHA regulations.
Answer sales phone lines to assist customers in placing cement orders, available after hours.
Assist in resolving customer and carrier issues overs shipments, billing, invoices etc.
Assist in rearranging deliveries with haulers to accommodate customer schedule.
Use phone/e-mail/excel and S4 Hana to dispatch bulk/packaged loads for appropriate plant and carrier.
Maintain log of daily shipments and produce daily final for carrier.
Input data and provide reports regarding various accounts, shipments and carriers when requested.
Check shipments to ensure correct price, freight charges and customer information on a weekly basis.
Make modifications such as diversions, material returns and additional freight and price deviations.
Balance daily reconciliation reports for Florida plants with the daily tickets and S4 Hana
Submit new customer account requests to IT team.
Assist in month end reports for accounting and audit purposes and assist in documentation pertaining to freight and pricing.
Maintain status of billing and check accuracy of monthly invoicing. Distribute invoices via mail/email at month end close.
Assists load out personnel when issues arise.
Run/monitor credit exposure report.
Additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
To succeed in this position, you will need:
High school education or equivalent.
Ability to read, write, and understand warning labels, instructions, signs, etc.
Proficient in English, written and verbal communication (Required)
Demonstrated good customer service skills (Required)
Ability to use Microsoft Office (required)
Prior use in S4 Hana (Preferred)
Ability to multitask in a very fast paced environment (Required)
3 years of experience in customer service setting (Required)
Experience in transportation and/or logistics (Preferred)
Willingness to learn, training will be provided.
What to expect in a cement environment:
Work to be performed in a shop environment as well as outdoor exposure throughout the plant. Mild exposure to cement dust, heat, cold, and noise requires compliance with specified safety guidelines and procedures. Exposure to high elevations of up to 250 feet in height. Exposure to all weather conditions. Normal operation of mobile equipment may result in jarring and vibratory exposure.
