We are looking for a dynamic leader to oversee and champion our customer technology solutions to set the strategic direction of how Medline’s technology solutions can improve the overall supply chain process.  The role requires a deep understanding of customer behavior, data analysis, and business strategy development.

This person will have the ability to formulate and deliver a well-defined sales systems roadmap that helps deliver critical capabilities for the Sales Organization; ensure sales business process, systems capabilities, and insights support of current and future sales operating model. 

Some responsibilities will include:

Ability to assess current customer processes, speak to customers to understand their workflows and translate back into business requirements for enhancing Medline technology solutions. Will also work closely with Marketing on setting the go-to market strategy for solutions and responsible for assisting in training the filed with saliant talking points.

Works with different departments to guarantee customer targets, financial goals, and business goals are met. Understand the underlying business processes and technologies used within the business to be able to make recommendations on how to achieve short-term improvements while ensure progress on long-term business objectives.

Develop an IS work plan for the year based on business priorities. Oversee and manage each project throughout the year from concept, designing, testing, training, communication and implementation.

Apply system solutions to problems/inefficiencies from concept, through the design, programming, testing/validation, training, and implementation of automated systems/techniques (reports, programs, predictive models, etc.).

Champion project management disciplines, processes, structures and tools to enable predictability of outcomes of each initiative.  Ensure timelines adhered to for projects by keeping key stakeholders aware of any red flags concerning the schedule, scope or budget. Foster close working relationships with Executives, Sales leadership, Operations and Technology, IT, Finance and Change Program teams.

Translate business requirements into technical specifications, with a focus on sales business and other sales applications and tools. Develop and implement processes, tools and technologies that enhance business intelligence, automation, reporting and analysis.

Analyze customer data to identify trends and insights that can be used to inform business strategies and initiatives

Provide and oversee business system governance.  Ensure effective stakeholder engagement and communication including accountability and responsibility.

Represent the sales functions in critical corporate and cross-functional transformation programs to ensure any changes to business processes, systems and metrics are aligned with corporate objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

Bachelor’s degree

Relevant Work Experience

At least 8 years of customer experience management, systems project management, business transformation, governance and/or process improvement.

At least 3 years of experience leading cross-functional teams to drive business/technology initiatives.

Additional

At least 4 years’ experience managing people; including hiring, on-boarding, developing, motivating, and directing people as they work.

Experience influencing and persuading decision-making through data analysis.

Advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite including PowerPoint, Excel (i.e. statistical functions, v-lookups, large pivot tables, charts/graphs, sorting, etc.) and Project.
