Job Summary
Job Description
Medline is seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Owner to oversee a critical enterprise platform, Workiva. This new role will be an integral team member responsible for developing, sustaining and maximizing the solution’s organizational value. This role will closely partner with workspace owners and Information Services to strategically align with business goals optimize workspace synergies.
Major Responsibilities
Define product vision, strategy and features that align with stakeholder objectives and requirements
Develop and own product roadmap to scale and mature product
Keep a steady pulse on stakeholders’ requirements, end users’ experiences and vendor enhancements to identify new, high-value configuration
Routinely analyze the user base and activity to identify areas of improvement
Manage and prioritize product backlog to precisely address business requirements and continuously improve performance and user experience
Quarterback new configuration, including work spikes driven by regulatory or strategic requirements
Own and monitor product’s data collection processes, including new metric set up and tracking
Establish processes for identifying and addressing product bugs and issues
Serve as the product ambassador, sharing knowledge and fielding questions among stakeholders and end users
Support product operations, analysis and reporting needs by designing and executing queries, developing scripts and related activities
Develop product expertise that fosters product innovation and builds organizational confidence
Own a dynamic communication plan to proactively and promptly notify stakeholders and / or end users of product issues, improvements or opportunities
Ensure compliance with company controls, including access management
Lead and manage new product releases, including development and education
Manage development projects, including strategic product integrations, architecture enhancements, etc.
Optimize continuous learning opportunities to develop deep functional expertise for platform features
Collaborate and align with Information Services, Finance and ESG to sustain compatible workspaces
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Project Management or related field
5+ years of work experience in technology support, analysis or administration
Deep knowledge for agile methodology and agile scrum framework
Self-starter with the ability to identify and deliver on objectives independently
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage ambiguity with logic and effective prioritization
Strong, innovative problem solver
