As State Tax Manager, you will manage the company's compliance with state tax laws and regulations, optimizing the state tax profile, and supporting tax-efficient financial operations. This position is ideal for someone who wants to make an impact across the business by building efficient state tax processes and procedures.
Specific Responsibilities
Manage state income tax matters, including: apportionment and state tax modifications, state income tax nexus, and calculations to support the company's state tax provision.
Manage the company's sales and use tax, including: filing of sales and use tax returns, advising business partners on sales and use tax implications, and partnering with IT on systems requirements.
Oversee personal and real property tax filings and Form 1099 reporting.
Assist in establishing clear policies, procedures, and controls in all areas of responsibility, with a focus on efficiency and data transparency.
Assist with other US federal or state tax projects as needed.
Skills/Requirements
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field required, with a preference towards candidates with a master's degree. Preference will be given to candidates with the CPA, CA, or equivalent professional designations.
7+ years of relevant tax experience in a multinational company and/or public accounting firm.
Proactive attitude with a commitment to delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.

The salary range for this position is $131,450 - $169,000. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
