As Senior Financial Analyst, this role will provide business critical reports for management. There will be heavy emphasis on completing and communicating the monthly reporting package to the senior leadership team. Ultimately, you will ensure our financial planning is healthy and profitable and aligns with business objectives.
Reporting directly to the Director of Finance, this position is based on-site in Parsons, TN*.
Major Accountability:
Improve financial status by analyzing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management
Analyze financial data by collecting, monitoring and creating financial models for decision support
Analyze and report on current financial status
Participate in budgeting/forecasting for departments and projects
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
Review accounting transactions for data accuracy
Review and analyze monthly results vs. budget/forecast/prior year
Summarize and report key variances to managers and Finance Director
Compare anticipated and actual results and identify areas of improvement
Forecasting monthly, quarterly and annual profits
Develop and prepare daily, weekly and monthly KPI's
Utilizing key performance metrics, provide updates to financial outlook
Manage rebate program accrual and distributions
Complete ad-hoc studies, charts and reports as needed
Maintain GL accounting and project setups aligned with global policy and accounting guidance
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics with 5 or more years' experience in a financial reporting or related field
Proven work experience as a Financial Analyst or similar role
Hands-on experience with financial and statistical software
Expertise in MS Excel (creating spreadsheets and using advanced formulas)
Familiarity with finance databases
Understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning systems (ERP)
Up-to-date with accounting laws and regulations
Excellent analytical skills
Ability to present financial data using detailed reports and charts
Demonstrable strategic thinking skills
Confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information
Must be able to wear PPE
