Job Summary: As a Product Manager, you'll join our Integrated Product Management division and be responsible for creating strategy and roadmap for the GenAI solutions, with a strong focus on an AI Assistant and AI generated translations, educating and raising awareness about the potential of this new technology, as well as creating, maintaining, and prioritizing the product backlog. You'll work with business and engineering organizations across Cat Digital to identify opportunities where application of AI/GenAI to business scenarios will improve Cat Digital offering to dealers, Cat customers and Cat employees. You'll closely collaborate with Digital Product Management product partners, architects, and engineers within our organization to evaluate AI Assistant use cases, their impact to our business and our dealers and customers. You'll represent the organization in AI related governance bodies and councils, as well as communicate the status to leadership team and stakeholders.
What You Will Do:
Responsible for maximizing the value of the product and the work of the development team
Responsible for acting as Product Manager for our AI Assistant and other integrated AI products
Responsible for planning, creating road maps and strategy for our AI Assistant
Responsible for creating, maintaining, and prioritizing the product backlog according to business value for the life of the project
Responsible for adoption, engagement, and tracking business value associated to the product
Responsible for raising awareness among business partners of the potential of this new technology
Communicate Product Backlog priorities to the team
Act as a key decision-maker regarding what features the product will have
Responsible for product vision and conveying that vision to the team
Owns definition of acceptance criteria for product features
Work closely with key stakeholders throughout the organization
Responsible for making decisions on release dates and content
Represent the customer, interfacing and engaging with the customer
Communicates releases to stakeholder and customers
Employee is also responsible for performing other job duties as assigned by Caterpillar management from time to time
What You Will Have:
Software Product Business Knowledge: high level of experience with the business aspects and operation of a software product; ability to manage install base, current uses, future plans, and product vision.
Effective Communications: highly effective communication skills with understanding of communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
Business Analysis: Extensive experience of business analysis and the set of tasks, techniques and tools required to identify business needs; ability to recommend solutions that deliver value to stakeholders.
Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Expensive experience of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
Considerations For Top Candidates:
Typically 7+ years or more of professional experience.
Experience around software engineering, analytics, artificial Intelligence.
Extensive experience as a Product Manager/Owner with ability to manage multiple projects and workstreams.
Proven ability to develop innovative products, streamline complex processes, and manage strategic roadmaps to drive project success.

Summary Pay Range: $123,480.00 - $200,640.00 Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
